APPROXIMATE SEARCH PREVIEW

Google decides the final title and snippet. Character counts are guides, not strict Google limits.

What makes a good SEO title?

Say what the page is about. Make the title different from titles on other pages. Include your main topic naturally. Avoid repeating the same keyword just to fill space.

There is no official 60 character rule. Long titles may be cut off or changed when Google shows search results.

How should you write a meta description?

Explain what someone will find on the page. Use plain language and stay close to the actual content. Google may use this description, but it can also choose a different snippet from the page.

Questions about search previews

Does Google always show my title and description?

No. Google can choose another title or snippet that it considers more useful for a search.

Does the meta description affect rankings?

It is not a direct Google ranking factor. It can still help readers understand the result if Google uses it.
